what is relationship in salesforce?

 RELATIONSHIP:

It refers there is a connection between  the one or two objects

2 way communication b/w two objects

In this relationship user can able to see the record and also able to access the record 

TYPES OF RELATIONSHIP:

Lookup relationship( many  to one, one to many)

Master field relationship( many to many) 

 

JUNCTION OBJECT:

It can link one instance of a record to  many children( each child can equally linked to many parents)

It is a custom object with two master detail relationships to two different record types.

  It is used to represent a many to many relationship

Example: Car dealership.

MASTER FIELD RELATIONSHIP:

 Create parent and child relationship b/w 2 obj

Delete master record child also delete

Rollup summary field create master detail relationship

2 master field for one object

ROLL UP SUMMARY:

Calculate the value from related records and it display on master record.

If we change in child record it automatically changed in master record.

LOOKUP RELATIONSHIP:

It like a reference for one obj to other

Create  relationship b/w 2 objects

One object is deleted another cant delete

Create maximum 25 lookups object
